The HSA is an integral part of Blessed Pope John XXIII Academy. It is an organization of Pastor, Principal, faculty, and school parents formed in order to enhance the educational mission of the school through fundraising activities and to promote a positive image of the school through family and community social activities.

Standing Committees and Chairs of the HSA

Athletics Committee:  Anne-Sophie Whitehead - This committee includes providing leadership, means and assistance for organized sports and other competitive events.

Class Assistance Committee:  Evelyn Irizarry Mercedes - This committee helps organize the Class Parent as well as collects Association duties. Class parent assist teachers in planning parties and field trips, and can be called on for other needs throughout the year.

Fundraising Committee:  Simone Cosgrove - This committee is responsible for all fundraising for BPJ XXIII Academy’s HSA.  The committee maintains and updates planning books for each fundraising to improve the event over time and to make it easier for new chairs or co-chairs to execute the event.

Hospitality Committee: Adrianne Lampley - This committee is responsible for the planning and arranging of all physical aspects of meeting (e.g. Refreshments, sign-ins) of the HSA.

Marketing and Publicity - TBA - This committee provides publicity for the school and its activities and aid in the promotion of all HSA activities.

Social Events Committee:  Nicole Clark - This committee provides the leadership and working groups to effectively plan and implement the social events calendar for HSA, designating chairpersons for each association function.

Spirituality Committee: Linda Shea  - This committee plans the prayers for the generals meetings and plan spiritual enrichment programs to meet the needs of the general membership.
